good home-made spa mask……..?
This is going to sound weird, but my fiance has been extremely stressed out lately and this is causing him to break out on his face. i would like to treat the poor guy to a relaxing “spa night” at home. i’m going to give him a full body massage with essential oils, scalp massage, and make and feed him his favorite dessert. All of which i’ve done before. but i would want to give him a good facial treatment. i know that putting raw beaten egg on his face and letting it set will soften his skin (trust me, it works!!! i do this for myself all the time) but i also would like to whip up a good facial putty mask for him that will zap those blemishes. any good suggestions? and no guessing in your answers please. only answer if you know for sure that the mask recipe will work. i don’t want to make his skin any worse.
Oatmeal: To use oatmeal to help clear your skin, make a thick paste of oatmeal and water. Apply this mix to your face in the morning and evening. Allow the paste to stay on your face for ten to twenty minutes before rinsing with cool water.
Honey and Apple: After grating the apple into a fine pulp, mix in four tablespoons of honey and apply to your face for ten minutes. Rinse off the mask after ten minutes is up.
Egg Whites, Witch Hazel and Lemon Juice: To make this mask, beat an egg white until stiff and add a few drops of witch hazel and a few drops of lemon juice. Spread the mixture over the face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse well with lukewarm water.
Tomatoes: After mashing a ripe tomato, drain the juice on paper towels for a few minutes. Next, take the tomato pieces and pat them onto your face as you are lying back. Leave the pieces on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Do this treatment once daily, preferably in the morning.
