Tarts vs Votives or Jars?
I asked in another category, but I figured I’d ask her as well.
I’ve started to really like candles. I know it’s a “personal preference” as to which is better – tarts, votives or jars. Well, my mom uses votives but that’s just her.
My room is pretty tiny, so I’m not sure if getting a jar is worth it (even though it’s only 3 or 4 oz). I like the idea of the tarts but how’s the scent compared to a votive or jar? Is it stronger?
I’m also wondering how long the scents would last after I blow out the flame on either the tart or the candle?
As I understand it tarts are used in a potpourri burner. They are smallish discs of scented wax with no wick for burning. Unless you are referring to Tealight Candles the small round candles in an either metal or plastic container.
At any rate, I prefer jar candles because the flame is contained and they consistently offer better fragrancing than smaller candles. I use tealight cndles in all of my Votive Holders so I don’t have the melted wax leftovers from the Votive Candles.
I have not found a candle that continues to scent the room once you blow it out.
