I have to do a wax figure?
I have to do a wax figure (say, a miniature little hat or something) and I have to make a mold for I can pour hot wax on it? what material should be used? I can not use RTV or plaster, because I have a copy.Help have originally?
Can not make a mold unless you have an original to be with. Lets say you want a mold of an egg. First, you need an egg (the original), then it would cover the egg with a release agent, such as Vaseline. (Very thin layer, not a sticky mess) Then put on some disposable gloves, dip gloved hands with soapy water and inject a big glob of pure silicone caulk in his gloved hand. Slather the putty around the egg and make sure to avoid air bubbles. Allow the putty to cure a couple of days. Take a sharp knife and cut the mold half (leave about a third of it together) open the mold enough to get your egg. There you go! You have a flexible mold!
