I need some ideas for Bridal Shower favors. I want to make sure my friend has memorable favors.?
Three options so far are. 1: lotions/bubble baths and other girl stuff. 2: Votive Candle with a couple of references to the beach (her fav spot) and 3: A treat box. I was thinking of baking red velvet cupcakes but make them purple to match her colors and one large initial cookie. “M” for her soon to be last name. I would make individual boxes . About 50 ppl are attending.
the cupcake idea is the best!! Be careful of the purple, though. Unusually colored food can be unappetizing. You don’t want to go to all that work and then have funny looking food. How about making the letter M in purple and having the rest be white. Or you could have some purple accent on each cupcake, like a sugar violet. At Michaels stores in the Wilton cake decorating isle, they have sugar crystals that are really big. They come in a shaker container like the sugar you use at Christmas to decorate cookies. Because these crystals are large, they have great sparkle. They would look stunning on top of a cupcake with a monogrammed letter and a sugar violet. Can you make small monogrammed letters out of candy- like white bark? Just an idea.
