Can I use dried flowers to make my own oil diffuser?
I've been looking at making my own oil for use in a bottle and a cane diffuser, I wonder if instead of adding essential oils mixed with diffuser oil base, I can simply add fragrant dried flowers (ie lavender) to absorb oil. I have often heard of the perfumes are made with flowers, soaked in oil unscented for a couple of weeks, but I wonder if the same concept can be applied to oils for diffusers.
I can not say for sure but not see why not work. The oil will have no smell before wet out, so if you want Make sure that the smell of lavender oil to soak in for at least a couple of weeks first, perhaps with the addition of more time to increase the smell. Must have look very nice in a glass bottle diffuser.
