Can someone help with wedding cakes for a fall wedding?!?
I am getting married on Nov. 1st of this year. We are running a little bit behind with everything!! I am needing help picking out flavors for the Wedding Cake. I’m not following the traditional white theme, I am going with ivory and I want the cake to match. The reason I am asking is because the cake maker lives a hour away and I am swamped with school to be able to travel.
What I am trying to ask: What are some good flavors for a wedding cake that aren’t vanilla and would be good with a ivory flavored icing?

Did you ask your cake maker what types of flavors they offer? Certain places only do certain flavors – so you might want to ask them and see what your options are.
I think that marble cake is really good – it’s a good mixture of chocolate and vanilla. Spice cake would be a good flavor for fall. You can also go with lemon, strawberry, chocolate, banana, or red velvet. There are lots of different combinations. It’s best to check with your baker to see what they recommend.
